This week, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan issued an official order for all state residents to stay at home due to COVID-19 outbreak, closing all businesses that are non-essential as of 8p.m. March 30. Neighboring Washington, D.C. and Virginia soon followed suit.

The end of March and beginning of April are typically a bustling time for tourism and for life in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia metro area, commonly referred to as the D.M.V.
